Surrendering a dog to Florida Dachshund Rescue

If you have a dachshund and seek help in finding a new home for it, send an email to FLDRintakes@gmail.com and include the following information:

1. Your name, city, and phone numbers
2. Dog’s name & Age.
3. Reason you must re-home your dachshund.
4. Color and coat of dachshund (red, black, dapple? Smooth coat? Longhair or wirehair?)
5. Can you provide us with vet records?
6. Are there any medical concerns with the dachshund?
7. Is the dog neutered or spayed?
8. Has the dog ever bitten anyone?
9. Does the dog like children, cats, other dogs?
10. Is the dog on heartworm preventative?
11. Is the dog house trained?
12. If you can provide pictures of the dog, please send them with your email.
13. Anything else you think we need to know about the dog, please include.
