Hi, I am Max. My previous owner had to give me up because he had to go into a nursing home. I LOVE to play. I like toys, any and all toys! I like to run and jump and I have lots of energy. But mostly, I want to play all the time! I am very cute too. My eyes are light colored and my coat is soft and touchable. I don’t really like cats, though. Unless I can chase them!
Sometimes I get to sleep in the big bed with my foster mom and I love that. I am healthy and up to date on vaccinations.

Hi, my name is Tinsley, but some people just call me Tinny for short. I am the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I am so loveable and the biggest cuddle bug. I go absolutely crazy for squeaky toys, and love to play fetch. I have fun playing with the other 4 large dogs I live with, but mostly I like to just lounge in someone’s lap. I am a very loyal companion and I seem to bond quickly. I was found in pretty rough condition by my foster mom, but after some tender loving care, I am looking like quite the healthy, lovely little lady that I knew I was.
I love walks, car rides, and kisses. I do demand a lot of attention though, so you gotta be ready to give me lots of love! I love to sleep cuddled up, under the covers in the human bed, but I also don’t mind my own bed. I am house-broken and crate-trained. I have had all my vaccines and recently had a dental cleaning.

Sam I am, do you like green eggs and ham? Well, I do! I was rescued from a home with a large aggressive pit-mix that wanted to hurt me. I am very quiet and very sweet and love to give humans kisses! I am very trusting even from my past. I will ‘talk’ to you and want to be with you every minute of every day. I love to roll over and get my belly scratched by anyone willing and able. I have met no strangers – ALL humans of ALL ages are my friends.
I do suffer from some separation anxiety as I was kept outside and given little attention so a family that is not gone all day would be perfect for me. I travel well, so I can be your traveling companion.
I was taken to a place called a vet and had some surgeries done. I am heartworm positive but just underwent my final treatment, which means I need to keep low-activity for the next 30 days, after which time I will be ready to run & play again. It’s hard to keep me down! I was also neutered and given all vaccinations & shots that I need, so I can find a forever home.
I am housebroken, crate-trained and doggie-door trained. I get along with other doxies (as there were up to 7 here in my foster home – all boys). I am 1.5 – 2 pounds underweight & with good food, I should be able to put that on – but NO MORE!

Hi there, I am Mr. Tibble! You can call me Tibble for short. I am a sweet, loving little guy who just wants to be loved and cared for by my humans. I was surrendered to FLDR when my owner was diagnosed with severe asthma. She couldn’t stay healthy and keep me. So I came to my foster home. I am with 6 other doxies here (of all sizes) and do try to play with them every once in a while.
I am mostly a loner and prefer to hang out with my foster dad. He calls me his ‘SHADOW’ because I follow him around where ever he goes. I love to take walks and go for car rides. I am 100% house-broken. I am also doggie-door and crate-trained. I will go into my crate easily if you give me a carrot or a small treat. I love to sleep under a blankie alongside my foster dad on my own doggie bed. I am initially shy but once I feel comfortable, I will give you kisses and be the perfect lap dog.
I do NOT like cats and do not do well with children. Their sudden movements scare me. I would love to be the only dog to be the receiver of all the attention. I am up-to-date on all my shots and will need a dental within the next year. I am small and compact and will be a great travelling partner.

You won’t find a better doxie than me, I’m super smart! For about three (3) days after I was surrendered, I carried the weight of the world on the expression on my face, I was very sad. However, when I realized what a good boy I was and that someone loved me unconditionally, I brightened up right away. I never knew what a “treat” was (even though I’m 8 years old), but when I pee outside, sit, come when I’m called, go to bed when my foster mom tells me, I’ll do just about anything for a piece of carrot. I learned all that stuff in less than a week…told you I was smart!
I’m scheduled for a dental cleaning in April and a senior panel (even though I act like a young pup) so I’m sure I’m going to be healthy as a horse (what’s with that expression). I have a sister, Bambi, that I’d really like to come with me to my forever home, so please check her out, she’s just about as cute as me. My foster mom will tell you more about me if my good looks don’t catch your attention immediately.

I’m a DEAR, not a deer as my name might suggest. Don’t believe everything you hear about a redhead either, it’s not ALL true. I am a little feisty, since I sometimes to do “wild dog” which is running through the house at least 100 mph with my toys in my mouth. I’m really as gentle as a lamb though and would have you hold me in your arms all day long if you’d let me. I give great hugs (it’s very cute) and kisses. I would love to sleep on your bed, but if you put me in mine and cover me up, I’ll stay there until morning.
I want to be with you all the time, wherever you go and I’m good in the car, but I might whine a little with my face between my paws (just ignore me). I drive my brother BooBoo crazy cause I like to play by grabbing hold of any part of him, I just love him and would never hurt a fly. I think I’d be fine if you only wanted to adopt me, but my brother would miss me terribly, so I’d really appreciate it if you’d give both of us a forever home (one head is always better than two, a doxie came up with that). Bella is a great girl. She likes to go for walks, but likes best to cuddle. She’s not much of a barker and would do best with a quiet household. A retired couple would be perfect. She does well with other dogs, but can’t be bothered to play with them. If kept on a regular schedule she is housetrained, but will tend to go on a pee-pad by the door, if I’m not quick enough for her. She is crate trained, but loves to sleep in the big bed.

Hi my name is Lily. My first owner did not know how to handle a dog with epilepsy so they didn’t give me my medication. I had seizures and they didn’t want to take care of me anymore. The neighbor found out about me before my owner was able to get rid of me and she discovered that epilepsy is easy to control with inexpensive medication. She was very nice, but could not keep me. She called the nice foster people and I am now waiting for my forever home.
I love attention and I am very gentle. If you rub my tummy, I will lay on my back and beg for more. I get along with other dogs and I like cats and kids too. My foster mom says anyone would be lucky to have me because I am so sweet!

I was an only dog, and my human mom took me to rescue, because she had to move where I wasn’t welcome. They didn’t know that I’m cheerful, sweet, funny and perfectly housebroken (100% of the time; I NEVER have accidents). When I first got here, I waited for my foster mom to go outside with me, but she taught me to use the doggie door (by propping it open). I walk down three deck steps and back up, all on my own.
My perfect forever home would be as an only dog, or with another other dog. I’m good with cats, and LOVE kids; even noisy, bouncy, pool splashing ones like my foster mom’s nephew. He was gentle and sweet and I liked it when he petted me, and I kissed him on the chin and nose.
I am a very good eater, but need to stay on a diet. I was seriously overweight and now I’m better with good food and exercise. My foster mom says I’ve lost about 10 pounds and need to maintain my healthy new waistline! I had emergency spinal surgery in April 2010, so diet and exercise are important. I am used to being groomed every other month or so and do great being bathed, clipped and having my nails trimmed. My foster mom does this herself and I am compliant.
My energy level is low and calm but I bark with the other dogs or if I hear something outside. I don’t run around much, but will walk/wander in the back yard. I love to take walks, and I sleep or lie down a lot of the time, hanging around my foster mom for loving. I sleep in my carrier or a crate, or with you, if you want.
P.S. My eyes are BROWN, not red; the red-eye picture is my foster mom’s fault!

Hi, my name is Marley. I had a wonderful life with my family for many years and thought I was a princess, because they told me so. Then my mommy had a baby and I wasn’t the princess anymore. Then she was going to have another baby and it must have been to difficult for them to take care of me, because they decided to let someone else take care of me. I am not used to sharing my belongings with other dogs and I love to be the center of attention.
