Here I am in my golden years, ready to retire and relax, when my previous owners threw me out like yesterday’s trash. The landlord found me and 2 other dogs left in a home alone, with no food or water. He took all of us to a shelter and luckily a nice lady from FLDR came and rescued me.

I should be relaxing and enjoying my retirement, not competing with young pups to find a new home!  Do you want a doxie that is completely housetrained?  Pick me! Do you want a doxie who loves to sit next to you on the couch?  Pick me!  Do you want a sweet, laid back doxie?  Pick me!  Do you want a quiet doxie who doesn’t bark much?  Pick me!  Do you want a doxie that sleeps through the night and likes to sleep in?  Pick me!

I get along great with other dogs, but would be fine as an only dog.  I love kids too!   And I love taking car rides, so I would be a great traveling companion.  The only thing I don’t like is being in a crate.  I will bark a lot and try to chew my way out.  But I am so good, I don’t need a crate, just a nice couch or bed to relax on.

I am up to date on my shots, heartworm negative and neutered. I did have some skin issues, but they are much better now. I just need some good food, a nice bath weekly and no fleas, please! I also lost some teeth when I had my teeth cleaned, but that just means I need soft food and it doesn’t bother me at all.  I’m retired, not expired!
