Hi!  My name is Jasmine and I am about 5 years old.  I am a Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua mix).  I was taken to our local animal control shelter when my previous owners lost their jobs.  I was discovered by the FLDR’s secretary, only 2 days before I was supposed to be euthanized. She picked me up and took me right to the vet to be treated for an upper respiratory infection. I’m very healthy now.  I’ve had all my vaccines, had my teeth cleaned and am spayed.

I love being a part of the family.  I love to play with my foster brother and sisters and I’m the biggest snuggle bug you’ve ever seen.  I love to give hugs and like to rest my head on my foster family’s shoulders.  I can be a little shy at first, but all you have to do is love me and I will be loyal to you forever.  I am completely and reliably housebroken with a doggy door.

Jasmine is such a wonderful little girl.  She is super loving.  Jazzy likes to wrap her arms around your neck like she is hugging you. She loves to sleep with you at night and will cuddle up to you.  Jazzy will come when you call her and she is learning to sit and stay.  She has learned the doggy door so quickly, but if you don’t have one I think she could convert to being taken out periodically for potty breaks very easily.  She doesn’t like being crated and is so good; we don’t crate her when we leave the house.  Jazzy loves to be with her “humans” as much as possible.  Jasmine is ready for her forever home.
